What causes extreme heat sensitivity? All the time. Can t tolerate much more than 70 degrees any more. Miserable all summer, even in air conditioning. 72-year old female. Heat sensitivity has been increasing over the last few years, but is out of control this summer.

Hi welcome to health care magic....

As you have excess heat intolerance , hyperthyroid has to be ruled out. ..
For that investigation done with serum TSH , T4 to rule out hyperthyroidism...

If it is present than drug for that given like propylthiouracil.

If hyperthyroid not present than drug history has to be taken along with physical examination and blood pressure measurement for further work up.....
If needed other hormonal profile also has to be checked ...

According to cause treatment given...
