Hello sir, i have a extremely dry skin. i try to keep them hydrated by applying alovera based cream, drinking lots of water and using a very mild soap, even then they keep drying up real fast and sometimes the skin starts to peel. kindly suggest me something for this problem.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of extreme skin dryness. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like result of sensitivity to sunlight , eczema , psoriasis , seborrheic dermatitis or impetigo. Need not to worry much. I would suggest you to consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor may order certain test like skin patch test , allergy test and blood test to find out the exact cause . Doctor may prescribe antifungal like fluconazole , immunosuppressants , anti inflammatory and corticosteroid cream. For now prevent it from sun exposure. You should wear loose cloths and apply petroleum jelly and keep yourself hydrated. You should take plenty of fluids on daily basis.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
