What Causes Extreme Swelling And Pain In Foot?

I have extreme pain in my left foot and it is swollen. I have RA. I have not hurt my foot. It started giving me pain a over a week ago but it is unbearable now. I can t walk on it . if I am off it, it doesn t hurt but if I put weight on it it hurts. My toes and the top of it hurts. Also it hurts if I press on it.

Welcome to HCM and thanks for asking your question...
As you are having RA, this problem may be because of this...I would suggest you to check your blood creatinine and do doppler of your foot...
Take anti inflammatory drugs and take sufficient rest with legs up...I want to know whether it is associated with any other symptoms like fever, etc...
You need to consult a rheumatologist for proper treatment of RA...don't get stressed, you will be fine...
