What Causes Extreme Weight Loss?

I am losing weight and haven t changed any eating habits. over the past 2 months I have lost about 10 lbs. its really starting to worry me. also, my hair is starting to fall out. I feel like my body is not receiving all the nutrients that im in taking everyday.

Unintentional weight loss can be concerning. In some cases, it may not be related to a serious or life threatening condition but these would need to be ruled out.

You would need to be assessed by your doctor. This would include a comprehensive history of all symptoms, examination and blood tests. Depending on the symptoms, examination findings and bloods, imaging may or may not be needed.

Blood tests may include at least a complete blood count and ESR (looks at the inflammation in the body).
