Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Extremely Cloudy Urine Along With Frequent And Urgent Urination?
I have VERY cloudy urine with frequent and urgent urination that keeps reoccurring. I also have a vaginal discharge with itching. I also have constipation due to an atonal colon and take laxatives. I went to my gynecologist recently and told him about these problems. At the time my urine was clear. He did not see a vaginal infection. He said if they did not call me, the urine test and pap smear were clear. I did not hear back, but now my urine is cloudy again, my gut is bloated and I am very constipated. I am not sexually active. I am post menopausal. I am on the light side of normal weight.
I can understand your trouble and will do my best to help you.
I can suggest that you go in for a urine culture test. Your might be having a condition called Aymptomatic Bacteriuria. In this condition thereis persistance of bacteria in the urine due to a previous episode of UTI.
Consult a urologist who might be able to give you a course of antibiotic and other medications to relive your problems.
Hope it helps.
Regards Dr Manish Kumar Jha
