What Causes Extremely Heavy Bleeding During Periods?
Hello my name is Leanne. I am 24 years old with a fairly regular period. Ranging between a regular flow to a slighty heavier flow. I m not on birth control and I am having regular unprotected sex with my partner. December I didn t get my period, took a test and it was negative. Yesterday I started bleeding. Really bright red, super plus tampon doesn t last 30minutes with out completely bleeding through the Super size tampon and a 15 minute clean up. What s wrong????
Hi Leanne, Welcome to Healthcare Magic Forum. I have gone through your Query & I really appreciate your concern about the problem you are facing.
As a physician I would like to tell you that this much super heavy menstruation could pin point to various diagnosis like Fibroids, endometriosis, Growth on cervix.
Thus I would like to suggest to you that you should visit a Gynecologist as soon as possible to have a physical examination done along with blood workup and Ultrasound tests to rule out any of the abnormality causing heavy periods.
Thanks for Trusting & Posting your Query on this forum. Hope this will help you. Feel free to ask any further question. Have a nice Day.
Regards, Dr.Abhijeet
