What Causes Eye Strain?

Hi, I suffer with what feels like eye strain over my right eye on a regular basis, worse by the end of the day. I had my eyes tested last year which all came back clear. I think i suffer IBS (undiagnosed bloating, loose bowls and wind) and was wondering if this could be related to my worsening eye problem, possibly due to malabsorption? I have small white ulcers (5) in this right eye on the underneath eyelid and frequently have headaches over that side of my head too. I am more increasingly concerned about these symptoms, can you advise?

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hello
It seems from the history that you are having eye strain and frequent headaches. The common causes for eye strain are refractive errors and dry eyes. The IBS syndrome does not have any effect on the eye strain. This requires evaluation by ophthalmologist to find out the refractive error and treat it or treat dry eyes.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
