Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per your complain, Panderm Plus cream contains a combination of steroid, antibacterial and antifungal medicines in a single cream and can initially help in reducing inflammation and acne caused due to infection.

But long-term use of steroid creams has more harmful efects then helping in resolution of problems like steroids can cause skin thinning, pimples, inflammation, rashes, itching, excess hairgrowth and dilated veins under the skin. So, my suggestion would be not to continue the use of Panderm plus cream and consult a Dermatologist and get evaluated and he can advise you to take proper acne medicines that is generally a combination of oral and topical antibiotics, cleansers and retinoids.

You can be advised to wash your face with Salicylic acid containing facewash. Apply topical ointment containing Clindamycin and Benzoyl Peroxide. Apply retinoids like Adapelene gel in thin layer on pimples at night. Do cool compresses over face.

Exfoliate your face twice a week to unclog the pores and remove dead skin. Oral medicines like Minocycline, Doxycycline and Retinoids like Isotretinoin can be given. On the other hand, scars/holes are left when the pimples are deep and aggressive.

Scars are of different types like boxcar scars, waterpik scars, rolling border type and the treatment is not completely done with topical medicines and you might need certain chair side techniques depending upon type of scars like microdermabrasion, microneedling, excision with elevation, dermal rollers, fractional CO2 lazers etcetera depending upon the scar type. You can start applying silicone gel over the scars.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Honey Arora
