What Causes Facial Scars And Severe Hair Loss Post Recovery From Chicken Pox?

I am 25 and I had chicken pox last month and now I recovered with some scars left on my face and probably on my scalp! and since 2 weeks ago I noticed a massive hair loss and it s really freaking me out. could you tell me what is it for and what should I do to solve it?

Hi,

The scar is quite common after chicken pox. It will take longer to cure. You can apply low potency topical steroids like betamethasone for faster healing. In severe cases, steroid injection or laser can also be considered. Consult a dermatologist and he will direct you accordingly.
Hair loss is quite common and will settle by itself.
