Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that you have a dental abscess that has occurred due to progression of infection from the tooth to the area below root tips leading to pus formation and when the pus perforates the bone it gets accumulated in the soft tissues leading to swelling..
Although you are taking antibiotics but the swelling at times does not subside completely with only antibiotics and treatment of the tooth has to be done for resolution..
I would suggest you to consult an Endodontist and get evaluated and he can advise you an x ray to rule out the exact condition of tooth..
You can be advised Root Canal Treatment of tooth for complete resolution of swelling and infection followed by antibiotics and painkillers..
In case if there is Gross decay and tooth cannot be saved Extraction is advised..
As of now continue taking the antibiotics as advised and see an Endodontist soon..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
