What Causes Fainting Spell Followed By Severe Upper Back Pain?

About a week ago, I passed out in my apt . When I came to I had wet my pants and I had this horrific upper back pain. Went to ER and really didn t get any answers. Would you know why this may have happened? I didn t hit ant thing went I passed out. I m 49 years old.8

Regarding your fainting spells I am suggesting that following differential diagnosis
Transient ischaemia attack
Meningitis
Hypoglycemia
Cerebral trauma
Cerebral hemorrhage
Cardiac syncope
In view of this please do the following test
CT SCAN
BLOOD CULTURE
SERUM ELECTROLYTES LEVEL
ECG

In regards to your pain at the upper back I will suggest from my opinion you have a cervical spondylitis please do a cervical x-ray
Meanwhile take
Tablet nurofen
Tablet cerebrex
Tablet Athrotec
Capsules multivitamin
Apply topical neurogesic cream
I hope this helps see a physician with the test result
