had a fainting episode the other day while driving , went to hospital and they did blood work up , ct of head and ekg .. all showed normal . had heart issues in the past ( heart attack ) . was told not to drive until problem is found and fixed . what could cause it ?

Hi, Thanks for asking. Considering age&fainting attak at an old age while driving (an exhaustive task for the age) &ecg,ct scan of head are normal..It ciuld be due to- - hypoglycemic attack or vasovagal attack Causing low glucose level in blood casing fainting spell - Hypothyroidism -any lung problem causing low blood xygen -coronary heart disease. You get to have through checkup for these factors.Consult a physician . Till then- Avoid physical or psychological stress/have multiple small servings of nouritious food./Take sufficient rest./If you have diabetes check your sugar levels &maintain normal blood sugar. Thanks.
