What Causes Fainting Spells After Starting Birth Control Pills?
My 24 year old daughter has had 2 fainting spells in 1 day within 20 min of each other before that on about 5 different occasions felt she was going to black out but never did.She has had a echocardigram and blood work which all came out normal. The only thing that is different is she started birth control pills about 3 moinths ago.
Birth control pills usually does not cause these fainting symptoms. I would still advise you to stop birth control pill and do a thyroid profile test, regular monitoring of blood pressure and have good nutritious food. Also, if possible, do a CT scan of brain. Don't use any hormonal method of contraceptive, instead use mechanical methods like condoms.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
