What Causes Fall In Blood Pressure While On Its Medication?
my husband has a blood pressure of 87/48 and takes 2 pills for high blood pressure and another one to help with meniers. Every once in a while he gets real faint and dizzy and when this happens his blood pressure is usually low. His pulse is 67 now when it usually under 60. We also checked his sugar he had 3 pieces of fish and a little bit of fries and 2 hushpuppies and few sips of his DP. 114 What causes his bp to drop like this just every once in a while out of the blue. He has been fine all day and went to the store and came home and was falling out almost not able to stand.
HI welcome to HCM. Frequent episodes of low blood pressure are quite common in patients on antihypertensives. It is advised in your case to avoid 2 classes of antibiotics. These drugs should always be started in low doses with gradual attainment of optimum doses.Hydrate yourself adequately with 3-4 litres of water / day.A screening 2 dimensional echo will help to help to rule out organic heart lesions.COnsult your cardiologist for further care, Thank you
