What Causes False Positive Drug Test Result While On Morphine And Lorazepam?

Thanks, I am on court ordered drug tests and although I have not smoked cannabis in over 6 months, it came up 5X positive. I take a lot of supplements, along with Prescribed Morphine Sulfate, Lorazepam 0.5mg 3X qd, and Temazepam 30 mg at HS. Need to find a legitimate reason for the false positive marijuana. I m a 64yr. old Nurse. If another urine test comes up positive, I face 15 years in prison for a fender bender I got into in a Walmart Parking lot..I am on Disabiity, Medicaid, so I don t have any money for your answers...cqnt you qt least refer me to sites that my indicate interaction causing the false positive?

Hi,

Nutritional supplements may be responsible for the false positive drug test. Prescribed medications like morphine sulfate, lorazepam and temapzepam are unlikely to cause a false positive test for marijuana.

However, supplements contain hemp seeds or oil can cause you to come up positive for marijuana.

I advise you to undergo confirmatory gas chromatography-mass spectrometry tests (GC-MS) which is more specific (truely positive) than the routine urine screening tests and can detect actual drug suspected.
