What Causes False Positive Pregnancy Test Results?
I have a issue! I hadn t peed for about 2 or 3 hours....Didn t drink that much at work...Came home and I took a clear blue digital test this afternoon and it came up pregnant . I took another one about 45 mins later and it came up not pregnant .Could it be that I didn t have enough hormones in my pee the second time ? If I am actually pregnant I wouldn t be that far along. Would a false positive happen? I m not on any medications of any kind.
False positive tests result mostly from hormone substitution which you didnt have, therefore: it is more likely that the second test came out false negative because in the first test the urine was probably more concentrated the first time which means there was a higher hormone level in the urine. Only 45 minutes later the urine was probably watery and the hormone level collected in te bladder was most likely below the test limit, which can happen in very early pregnancy. So if you do a third test the next morning or a couple days later, it will probably be positive again (i wish you good luck hoping that is what you want). Hope this is helping you , if you have any clarificatons you can get back to me, if this was helpful please kindly rate my answer. Best regards
