What Causes Fast Heart Beat Despite Taking Levothyroxine?

i have beeetting racing heart aneen gb en taking levothyroxine 50mcg for a long time i have bee, i mentiond this to my doctor and he told me it was not the pills n g eart problems .problems sleeping and gaining lots of weight mentioned this to my doctor he said it was not the pills. i never had problems like this before

Hello,

Fast heart rate means heart rate more than 100/min. So 1st confirm it whether your heart rate is more than 100 or not because fast heart rate and weight gain are 2 opposite things.

If it is more than 100/min.plz do an ECG to check for any abnormal heart rhythm and also repeat serum TSH level.

If heart rhythm is abnormal plz consult your cardiologist then. And if TSH level is low then u have to increase ur levothyroxine dose.
