What Causes Fast Heartbeat, Dizziness And Sweating?

My heart rate keeps rushing and it skips a beat about every 10 beats. I feel flushed and dizzy and i break out in sweat for no reason. I am 75 years old but have always been told my heart was ok. I have no pain and i wonder about going to emergency because of everything you have to go thru. I m wandering about trying to wait until my Dr. is in Monday. This started last night and then went away and now came back about 2 hours ago.

your symptoms are likely associated with sympathetic overactivity so it can be due to anxiety, thyrotoxicosis, anaemia, pheocromocytoma, beriberi.
you needs certain blood investigation to find out cause of it.
