General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It commonly occurs due to indigestion, food intolerance, GERD, gastroparesis, liver issues. Your friend needs medical support.

Take her to the ER, let her be examined physically. Let her do CBC. liver function tests, Urinalysis & stool test, etc. Imaging tests if needed.

She is dehydrated & emaciated. She needs intravenous fluids & antibiotics.

Neglect will lead to worsening of condition (dehydration, fall in electrolyte level, low BP, hypoglycaemia, etc).

Presently you can give her antacids, PPI's & spasmol (spasmoproxyvon) to get relief from pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
