My 16 year old daughter is fatigue, can't breathe, and light headed. Her teacher sent her home from school today because her rosy red cheeks seemed flushed and she look pale. She is 175 pounds and 5'1. Very athletic. She has a medical past though. She has asthma and is anemic. She has had problems in the past with metabolic acidosis. She has been to a GI a lot lately and had a upper scope about a month ago and had her gal bladder removed in August. Should I take her to the emergency room?
