What Causes Fatigue Along With Excessive Sweating While On Levothyroxine?
Hello, I currently take levothyroxine 50 mcg, since having flu two months ago I have felt tired, weak and am having sudden bouts of sweating, being very hot and flushed. I feel as though my body temperature is uncontrollable and erratic. I am 55 and had premature menopause in my early 30s. Could this be a need for a higher dose or could there be some other cause? Yes, it could be and we need a blood test to confirm the same. You should do a t3 t4 TSH and then we can titre the dose accordingly.
