What Causes Fatigue Along With Nausea And Anxiety?
Hi, I ve been feeling lethargic lately with bouts of nausea and anxiety, also i m having a little tightness in my chest to the left of my heart. I m a 56 year old male and this has been occurring consistently for the past month. Any consideration given this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Dennis
There are several possible causes of the symptoms you are explaining. this can be from anxiety to physical conditions like the heart, lungs, anemia, etc.
It is important to have a check with your doctor and have a good physical examination which will guide on the need for other tests like CBC, ERS, ALT, AST, bilirubin, creatinine, electrolytes, glucose, lipids, ECG and urinalysis, etc.
If all these tests come out normal then very likely your symptoms are due to anxiety and treatment for anxiety is needed.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
