What Causes Fatigue Along With Pain And Stiffness In Joints?

Hi, I m a 52 year old male very active and quite healthy. I have recently been having flare ups of general fatigue accompanied by muscle stiffness and joint pain. Often when these flare ups occur it is accompanied by tenderness and small raised stringy bumps in random locations inside my mouth. Then it will go away for a week or two then come back for a day or two.

Hello. Read your query and noted the contents.
At your age, we need to think of autoimmune conditions that can cause muscle pain and joint pain with muco-cutaneous changes (like the lesions you described in your mouth). Please consider doing a CBC, ESR, ANA and RA factor. You may need to see a rheumatologist if any abnormality is noted. Hope this helps.
Please feel free to drop in any more queries if need be.
Warm regards,
Dr Praveen
