General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello. I have read through your question and can understand your concern. First of all I want to ask you if he had any major medical issues in the past. When has his symptoms started. Get his complete blood profile done including Haemoglobin TLC and Dlc . Also drug abuse cannot be ruled out in his age group. Sudden social withdrawal and lack of motivation is a common occurrence in drug abuse. Talk to him patiently and try to know about his social circle and the kind of company he keeps. If he is having difficulty in coping up in studies. I hope that helps. If you have any further questions please feel free to write.
