Hello,

Increase in heart rate is called as tachycardia medically. Coffee causes tachycardia, and as you said, you skip the food for sometimes.

There are two things:
1) Do not be empty stomach if you do not have time fill it with water at least but not first with coffee.
2) Secondly, take more salads in the diet, and avoid taking much of citrus fruits.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Abdullah
