What Causes Fatigue Along With Rash On The Upper Torso?

Hi, My seventeen year old daughter is presenting with symptoms of fatigue, a rash on her upper torso, forehead hairline, facial swelling, fever, chills. She was tested and does not have strep throat. A Dr. proscribed prednisone for the rash but has no explanation of her condition. I am concerned about the possibility of lames disease. Has not noticed a tick nor a bullseye. do you think it still could be lymes?

Based on the history you have shared, she might be having rash like herpes which may present with fever alongside. Lyme disease is a possibility but a dermatologist review and baseline blood work up should have been done.

Meanwhile OTC analgesics like acetaminophen or Ibuprofen can be helpful for symptomatic relief. Antibiotics choice should be made after examining her in detail.
