What Causes Fatigue Along With Sweating And Nausea Post Insertion Of Tampon?

I inserted a Tampon for the first time and I almost passed out, but I knew what to do to prevent completeing going unconscious. My eyes were blacking out, I was very weak, I started to sweat, and become nauseous. The Tampon was still somewhat uncomfortable afterward (I did not take it out fyi). Did I insert it wrong?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello Ms,

Thank you for your question and welcome to HCM. I understand your concern.
I would like to calm you down, because the reaction you had, is not caused by the insertion of the tampon, but because of hypotension during your menstruations. The uncomfortable sensation is again normal, since the insertion of the tampon for the first time is a new experience for you.
There is nothing wrong with the way of its positioning.

I hope I was helpful. Take care and feel free to ask again. Good day.
I find this answer helpful
