Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I haven t had my period in 22 days and have having fatigue and other symptoms that make me think I m pregnant . What the most efficient way to have a natural at home abortion because I don t want to tell my parents about this. They still think I m a virgin.
Fatigue and delay in getting periods can happen due to other causes other than pregnancy. Kindly get a urine pregnancy test done to know whether you are pregnant or not. If it is negative, your delay in periods could be due to hormonal imbalance. Fatigue could be due to nutritional cause like iron deficiency anemia.
However, you would need few more investigations like blood test and ultrasound scan to arrive at the diagnosis as to what could be the underlying cause. Kindly consult obstetrician in this regard for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Ashakiran S
