What Causes Fatigue And Body Ache?

I have been sick for a week. Fatigue, malaise, tired, achy like I have the flu, but I have NO flu symptoms, like stomach related, fever, respiratory, etc. Could it be a virus? Also, I have had sarcoidosis in the past. I have the flu-feeling symptoms I listed when I had active sarcoidosis. However, I had many more severe symptoms. I now feel like I did when I was sick with sarcoidosis, although, without the severity. I m not sure what to do. I just feel bad and can only do a few things and have to rest.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI,

If the symptoms you are experiencing are there for less than 7-10 days then it might be worthy to wait, a viral infection may still be the case.If the symptoms have been there for longer than 10 days then it is advisable to see your doctor and have some examinations to find out the cause.

Having a CBC and ERS are the first examinations to do and the doctor may decide to do some other tests especially due to your past history with sarcoidosis.

Hope I have answered your query.
