Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My adult son has been having frequent bouts of energy loss for the last 5 to 7 days for no apparent reason. He lies down in an attempt to recover; usually to no avail. Once in awhile he mentions difficulty breathing. Do I need to take him to an ER when such an event begins?
Hello, He needs to see a doctor soon. He may be anemic or have pneumonia. He really needs an exam, blood tests and possibly a chest x-ray. If the ER is the only way you can get him to see a doctor then yes he should go. Regards
