I m a 46 year old female that had a blood test about 7 months ago. It showed my dhea low at 19 and also that I was susceptible to getting pneumonia so my immunologist put me on 25mg of dhea a day and gave me a shot to build resistance against pneumonia. I felt good for a while but now I m back to feeling fatigue, dizzy when I stand up quickly, my memory seems to be on slow at times. I recently went to my PCP because I have high cholesterol and he did blood work. It showed my dhea low again. I m wondering if I should see an endocrinologist. I have lots of other health issues that I m unsure if they relate. Low blood sugar, cysts on my kidneys, ovaries & breasts, nerve damage (I see a neurologist), slow digestion and constipation, acid reflux & hiatal hernia. Any advice would be appreciated.
