What Causes Fatigue And Excessive Sleepiness After Treatment Of Acute Bronchitis?
I had acute bronchitis . Am feeling extremely weak and sleepy. I haven t gone to work since 2.5 weeks. I had severe cough and high fever and a little blood in my phlegm along with wheezing and shortness of breath. I was given an antibiotic for ten days.the course is over but I m still sleepy and I can t work for long I feel very tired. The cough has subsided and all the other symptoms have subsided except for weakness

my dear friend you have been given anibiotics ,this shows it was not viral primarily .after treatment you are feeling tired and sleepy,i hope steroids were never used ,please check your blood sugar .at times acute bronchitis progresses to chronic bronchitis or pneumonia .these symptoms resolve on their own please see your doctor,avoid smoking have increasedfluid intake with proper diet,also try to avoid passive smoking .Thanks for using HCM
