Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Fatigue And Excessive Sweating After Placement Of A Cardiac Stent?
10 MONTHS after having a stent placed in the right aortic artery I now have the same symptoms (lack of energy, sweating, tiredness) and drop in the hemoglobin count to 10.7 TRIGLYCERIDE 363. RIGHT ARTERY WAS 70% CLOGED Stent was placed on May 10th 2016.
You need to call either your PMD or cardiologist so that check whether or not the stent closed or is closing down since triglycerides of 363 is in fact elevated which could be a risk for the ongoing development of atherosclerotic plaque.
You may be describing something referred to in headache medicine as an ATYPICAL MIGRAINE with complex features. Because of the FOCAL nature of your symptoms (LEFT sided body) I am of the opinion, you will need to see a neurologist or headache specialist.
In the face of general PERIPHERAL ARTERIAL DISEASE (PAD), which you likely have based on the blockage in one artery, you may be having similar critical stenotic issues in another coronary vessel that will need stenting now.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Dariush Saghafi, Neurologist
