What Causes Fatigue And Excessive Sweating While Suffering From Polycythemia?

Hi, my name is Betty. My husband has polycemia, he is 69 yrs old. He has had this for quite some time. He recently had a sleep study test to determine the pulse ox or oxygen level in the blood. the test was normal. his most recent HCT count was 53. he has several vitamin deficiencies including low D3 and takes 2000 mg. daily. he also takes B12, fish oil, calcium, vitamin C, pravastatin sodium 40 mg daily for hyperlipidemia. I forgot to mention he does use a c-pap machine @ night had has used it for over 15 yrs. He does experience fatigue, sweats, and dehydration especially during the hot weather. my question is what other tx. can he have done or medication @ this point ?
