What Causes Fatigue And Joints Pain While On Remicade Shots And Methotrexate?
I am on Remicade infusions every 8 weeks and methotrexate weekly for Crohns Disease.I have been on these meds for approx. 8 months.I have started having weakness, stiffness and mild aches in my joints. My Gastroenterologist was not concerned about this at all but I see in the Remicade warnings that it is a side effect that should be reported to the doctor so I am a bit confused by this. Should I be worried?

Meftal spas are used for different reasons and one of the reasons is pain during periods, it helps to reduce the intensity of pain thus advised by doctors as per the requirement of the patient.
As you are taking the medicine for a long duration, are you taking it with your doctor’s advice or on your own?
If not then I would suggest you consult a gynaecologist about it. There are adverse effects of the drug therefore it should be taken with a doctor’s advice.
Your doctor will guide you on its use as well as if you want to find other option for pain relief then you can talk about it to your doctor, she will suggest you the best thing.
There are other ways like using hot water bag for pain during periods helps.
