What Causes Fatigue And Low Libido While On Lexapro?

i am healthy 53 w/m, I am getting a testost shot every two weeks, and I take Lexapro daily. I still feel somewhat lethargic and not as sexually motivated. to improve sex perf and save 50.00 on ed meds, Can I continue the above and add dhea or l argenine or some other beneficial supplement.?

Hello, Since you are taking Lexapro, probably for depression, however, it does cause reduction is libido, impotence and lack of rgasm as part of its side effects. Hence, in spite of taking Testosterone shots, your sex drive may still get negatively affected. As regards feeling fatigued, have checked whether you have diabetes as well as hypothyroidisim and also a check of hemogram. Because each of these conditions can be a cause for fatigue. Please get these test done and then consult. Thanks.
