Hi,I am Dr. Andrew Rynne (Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I m trying to figure out what was going on with my great-great grandmother. I have several of her letters from 1885 and over the course of a year, symptoms mentioned were fatigue, cramping, weakness, and fatigue. An initial search on this site indicate a number of things including anemia, fibromyalgia, and a virus. The virus doesn t seem viable to me, but I m an English major. :)
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Certainly anemia is a possibility. It could also have been from diabetes, lung disease or heart disease. It is very difficult to sort out just based on the three symptoms of fatigue, cramping and weakness. If you have other information about her or her symptoms it might be helpful in sorting this out.
Regards
