What Causes Fatigue And Numbness In The Legs After A Stroke?
I have been having stroke , I have a j loop recorder implanted and have had right heart cath which showed no right side failure and boarder line Pulmonary hypertension at rest pressure was 24 . My body hurts all the time . I m exhausted, numbness and tingling in legs , hands , tip of nose . I ve also have had boughts of days of Diarrhea, abdominal pain , bloating , bright red blood in stool . Nobody seems to know what is going on , I ve been passed from cardiologist, neurologist. Gastrointestinal dr . Still no answers

So far, numbness and tingling in legs are due to loss of fluids and electrolytes after diarhhea bouts. Should keep well hydrated and take lots of fluids especially plain water and oral rehydration salts.
Bright red blood in stool while having diarrhea could be due to:
- Inflammatory bowel disease triggered most probably by use of blood thinners used.
- Infection of bowels.
- Hemorrhoids.
A good physical examination and abdominal ultrasound and abdomen CT scan are further advised.
