What Causes Fatigue And Profuse Sweating During Nights In A HIV Patient?
I am hiv positive for 20 plus years T cell count 380 and undetectable . Recently I have been experiencing bad night sweats and day sweats as well. I am nauseous a lot and experiencing fatigue. I am on a regiments for 4 years. I am also a diabetic with serval neourapathic pain in my feet and it is getting worst.
Night sweats are a common symptom in late stage HIV. However, it is also a symptom of other conditions related or not to HIV. Night sweating is a symptom of Pneumocystic Pneumonia (PCP), a common infection in late stage HIV, however it usually occurs with a T cell count under 50, so in you case, provided you don't have other accompanying symptoms like dry cough, chest pain or fever, I don't think it is the cause. Night sweats are also a symptom of Diabetes, which is most likely to be the case here. Please try to keep your blood sugar levels on check, by medication and diet, and also your hiv medication. A good hydration is essential to your regimen. All the best.
