What Causes Fatigue And Skin Rashes While Suffering From Fibromyalgia?

Hi! I m 21 years old and of normal weight. I ve recently had many symptoms of having an autoimmune disorder, but have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. I have severe fatigue, joint pain, skin rashes, scalp sores, mouth sores, mottled skin, easy bruising. My lab work has shown neg ANA, high MPV (the lab says 6.3-9.0 is normal and mine is 11.8) and Leukocytes in my urine without any trace of bacteria or nitrites. I need help getting the right treatment and diagnosis. How do I go about it?

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Regarding your concern, I would explain that leucocytes in the urine may show an infection.

I recommend performing an abdominal ultrasound to examine your kidneys.

From the other hand, high MPV may be related to vitamin B12 deficiency.

For this reason, I recommend checking your vitamin B12 plasma levels and vitamin D for a possible deficiency.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
