Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Fatigue And Swelling In The Extremities?
I ve been real weak and shaky, low pulse 45bpm but blood pressure 120/70 good. I have swelling in my extremities and have had idiopathic neuropathy for 6 years. I have a intrathecal pain pump with dilaudid and bupivicain for neuropathy pain. I ve had this implant for 4 years.
Swelling in both legs and fatigue can be a sign of a few conditions like the heart, kidneys and liver.
You will need to have some checks done to evaluate these like: CBC and ERS, creatinine and electrolytes, AST, ALT, heart ultrasound and ECG, urinalysis, etc.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
