Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My name is Brittany and I am 23 years old. I have been experiencing fatigue. I feel very tired all the time. I feel like i have no energy at all. It is hard for me to do even simple everyday task such as wash dishes. I sleep well other than it takes me awhile to get to sleep. I am not eating but maybe once a day sometimes not even that.
Hello I have gone through your question and understand your concern. Weakness and fatigue can be caused due to anemia or essential nutrient deficiency, take up complete blood test to rule out anemia. Add a multivitamin to your daily routine, along with fresh fruits, vegetable, nuts and green tea. Sometimes heavy meals with high carbohydrate levels make one feel slow and sluggish by breaking down the food fast. Good night sleep is also essential to have a fresh day ahead, along with simple physical activity for body like yoga or brisk walk. To keep mind alert a little puzzle solving or mind game will help. If the test results shows anemia consult a doctor. If the test result is good and lifestyle changes don’t seem to improve the symptoms, undergo whole body health check up. Good luck. Hope your concern is answered. Thank you.
