Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am male 53 years, I have been experiencing fatigue over the past 1 month, recently I am suffering from what appears to me is intermittent diarhoea. I have been partying a lot over the past 3 months with an average intake of 3/4 large (60 ml) alcoholic drinks at an average 3 times a week. My urine of late is a predominant yellow in the morning. Time to consult a doctor?
Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.
Use tablet pantoprazole before breakfast for one week. Stop the intake of alcohol. Avoid spicy food and alcohol avoid smoking and caffeine drinks.
If symptoms not improved then get it done ultrasound abdomen, blood examination, urine examination and endoscopy. Then consult your gastroenterologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu,
