What Causes Fatigue, Itchiness And Neck Pain Around Thyroid Area?
I have had a great level of fatigue, itching, and now neck pain in and around the thyroid area, including discomfort when swallowing (almost like a sore throat) off and on for the last couple of weeks. Also noticing skin changes (dry/coarse).Could I be developing a thyroid problem? Used to smoke but not for over 10 years.

Maybe you have thyroiditis. I think you should take an appointment with an endocrinologist. You should do some examinations like TSH, T3, T4 and thyroid ultrasound.
