What Causes Fatigue, Night Sweats, Dizziness And Frequent Burps While On Birth Control?

My daughter has been dealing with extreme fatigue, joint and muscle pain, night sweats, upset stomach and some dizziness for at least 2 years. We have had some testing and nothing has been conclusive. She also has enormous burps. She will be an active teen for a , few days and then she will crash for about 2 days. I think it may have something with her hormones. She is on birth control for acne and Duoloxetine 60mg. She was told she had mono and then CFS. I believe there is more going on. Thank you

Hi,

If the test of Mono had been confirmed by blood test, then definitely, these symptoms may be due to CFS as a result of Mono. However, to me the symptoms seem to be of Bipolar disease. As you are mentioning, that she is having alternating periods of activeness and feeling crashed.

Also, she is taking Duloxetine, might have been prescribed by her doctor. This drug is generally prescribed for the symptoms of anxiety or/and depression etc. Hence, i will advise you to consult with a psychiatrist for proper diagnosis & treatment accordingly.
