What Causes Fatigue, Vomiting, Orange Urine, Headaches And Sweating?

My friend has been to the Emergency room 3 times and has had blood tests, but has not been diagnosed or given an answer to what is wrong with him. He has taken antibiotics for Strep throat, but his symtoms- fatigue, vomiting, orange urine, headache, sweats, muscle pain-do not go away. It s been a month. Do you have any clue to what could be wrong with him?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Symptoms of fatigue with headache and vomiting do indicate intestinal or liver infection most likely. There must be some sort of alterations in system and needs evaluation for:
- Complete hemogram
- Erythrocyte sedimentation rate
- C reactive protein
- Liver function tests
- Serum electrolytes
- Urine microscopy

Depending upon results of above, one may need an Ultrasound of the abdomen and Pelvis as well. Kindly share all of his reports for detailed evaluation and further guidelines.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
