Hello,

Extreme tiredness is a symptom of lupus & diabetes. You are overweight & that may be adding to your symptoms of fatigue & sleepiness.

You are suggested to do stretch exercises & walking on a regular basis to keep yourself physically and mentally tone up, fresh & fit.

Avoid sedentary lifestyle maintain healthy weight. Maintain your blood sugar level & get treated for lupus.

Type 2 diabetics experience sleepiness or fatigue due to high blood sugar levels due to lack of insulin & affect the body ability to get glucose from blood into the cells to meet the energy needs.

People on stronger insulin doses may also feel fatigue due to low blood sugar levels. Other causes of sleepiness can be anemia, generalized weakness, anxiety, depression, etc.

Get physically examined by a GP, get evaluated & treated at the earliest.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
