What Causes Fatigue While On Trazodone?

I am a 66 year old, white male in excellent health. I take 100 mg of trazadone to help me get back to sleep after I wake up for a bathroom break in the middle of the night. That part seems to work pretty good most of the time. I ve been taking the trazadone for about a year. I ve noticed that I seem slow to get going in the morning and have a general feeling of tiredness during the day. Could this be attributed to trazadone?

Hi,

Yes,you guessed correctly. The fatigue or tiredness is one of the major side effects of Trazodone. You can also talk to your doctor regarding any change in the doses. Start taking a multivitamin if not taking already.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
