What Causes Fatigue While Suffering From Hashimoto S Thyroiditis?

I have Hashimoto s, I have for 29 + years. Just recently my TSH uptake was 6.5. My meds were upped to levothyroxine 0.175 MG. From 0.150 MG. For over 6 months I have been exhausted. I have a few days where I feel normal then I m just extremely tired. Since starting the new dose of Levothyroxine the right side of my neck is noticeably swollen and is somewhat sore. I do not have a functioning thyroid as I was given radio active iodine to kill it back in the early 90s. I know my body, I know when things are off.....Any ideas?? I do eat well, take vitamins and get plenty of rest.

Hello,

Consult an endocrinologist and get evaluated.

It might be due to thyroid hormonal problem.

You can go for a thyroid function test for further assessment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
