What Causes Fatty Tissue In Rib Cage?

underneath my right rib cage I feel like I have a baby kicking me in rib cage feeling..been going on for like three years...I had an ultrasound..they stated it looks like a fatty tissue, tumor looking...it s worse when im sitting down? is this abnormal?
